TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By taking part in this auction, you agree to comply with the following rules. This means that you must not bid at all unless you agree with something of the below:

1. You must never leave me negative feedback unless you contact me first. I am willing to answer all your questions and concerns and if you are not satisfied with an item I’m selling for ANY reason, I’m willing to offer you FULL refund, if you send it back to me in its original condition (as it was shipped to you). I’m not trying to deceive anyone and I’m not happy when you are not happy either. Selling and buying on EBAY is mostly fun for both sides, so let’s keep our communication on a civilized level.

2. I allow ANY kind of questions as long as the auction is running but I’m entitled not to answer to ANY item-related questions AFTER the auction has ended. This means that I will supply you with any information you may ask me for (extra photos of the item, extra info on the item etc.) as long as the auction is not over. After the auction is over, you commit to buy the item. So, please, if you are not serious at bidding, please do not bid at all. A serious bidder asks all kinds of item related question as long as the auction is up and running and a serious seller is obliged to do his best and answer all questions or buyer’s demands.

3. I’ve asked my post office and according to its current status, tracking orders for countries such as China, Russia, Ukraine & the Baltic Countries, Indonesia and Mexico is not possible. Therefore, unfortunately I cannot accept ANY bidders from any of the aforementioned countries, until the HELLENIC POST OFFICES can set a proper tracking system for these countries as well.

The only exception I can make for a bidder who lives in one of the aforementioned countries is that the they comply to one basic rule:

If they are willing to bid and win the item, they are aknowledged that they will receive the item from at their own risk. This means that if the item is lost or never delivered to them for ANY reason, I will not be held responsible and therefore any PayPal attempt to claim their money for non-receipt, will be reported to PayPal and Ebay as violation of the rules I’ve set for all my auctions.

I know that this is not fair but as I cannot secure any buyers from the aforementioned countries, I’m afraid that the best way is that you don’t bid at all until the tracking system issue for your countries is fixed.

4. If you are a bidder and live in Italy, I can only send you the item(s) won by REGISTERED MAIL only and not REGULAR MAIL. According to my post office, they have many cases for stolen mail in Italian post offices, so I can only offer you REGISTERED AIR MAIL delivery and NOT REGULAR MAIL.

5. In general, you should always prefer to receive your items by REGISTERED AIR MAIL and not REGULAR AIR MAIL. It’s safer and your order can be traced in case something goes wrong.

6. CD & LP EDITIONS (first pressings, later pressings, private editions and bootlegs).

Most persons buying CD’s and LP’s on EBAY are collectors and they want to feel secure that they are not buying any fake or second rate items. So, it is important to clarify some terms. By bidding at one of my auctions you agree with the following:

a. A First Pressing of an album is the VERY FIRST edition that the album was issued by. If an album was released for the very first time on LP at a time when no CD’s were around, all later CD (or LP) pressings are NOT first press but later pressings and can imply various licensings, various different editions etc. Buyers often misunderstand this term, by thinking that a first press is the first run of copies that the factory made of a specific format of an item. This is totally wrong, because NO collector or BUYER in the world can ever be sure if an original item he owns is a first press or second press or third press etc. This all depends on the factory and the label that originally issued the album and this is often a well kept secret. So, let’s all agree that a first pressing of an album is the first edition it came by for the first time it was originally released in the exact condition it was manufactured.

b. A Private Edition of an album, is a certain edition an album was manufactured by, but its origin or manufacturer is usually unknown. Sometimes private editions are related to bootlegs but this is not true. Bootlegs are ALWAYS private editions but private editions are NOT ALWAYS bootlegs. A Privately released album can be a self-financed effort of a band, or a small limited edition release of a small record label or even an indepedent pressing of unknown origin.

c. Bootlegs are mostly private editions featuring unreleased, unauthorized demo, live or studio recordings by big or smaller bands, that the bands have not authorized.

d. Replicas are CD or LP editions that look like a first press edition of an item but they bear certain variations compared to the original, that only dedicated collectors can tell.

7. SILVER SIDE FACTORY MADE DISCS (for CD bidders)

I sell only Silver Side Factory made discs and NO CDR’s! All factory pressings come with one silver side that only factory made CD’s have. All CDR’s in the world, when exposed over a light, have a color variation (even the ones that look like silver). Others are usually, light pink, blue and other colors of course. But EVERY CD manufactured by a factory is ALWAYS silver at one side.

8. I accept ONLY PAYPAL payments! I can only make an exception and accept IBAN TRANSFER from bidders from European countries ONLY that have written to me first about it. Payment has to be made within 5 days from the end of each auction.
