This is the “VAN GELDER” stamped Pressing of KENNY DORHAM’s “Trompeta Toccata” on the “New York USA” labels of Blue Note BST 84181. Musicians include Joe Henderson, Tommy Flanagan, Richard Davis, Albert Heath.

VINYL plays with light surface noise, with occasional pops and ticks. Plays well overall. Ensemble sections are very clear, dynamic and strong. No distortion. No skips. Very Good gloss. A few hairline marks, none feelable. (If you can’t feel it, you won’t hear it). The “New York USA” labels are clean, spindle wear. See photos.

COVER is in good shape. Corners worn. Seams and spine in good shape. Much Water Damage at lower Seam. “E. Brown” on blue sticker. See Photos. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23” back jacket shows wear, blue sticker, “EB” and water damage of lower seam. . Please see photos.

   

This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
