Description
- Prestige Records 7118, this is an original US mono pressing - NOT a recent reissue - of the classic Prestige All Stars LP "After Hours." Session features Thad Jones, Frank Wess, Kenny Burrell, Mal Waldron, Paul Chambers, and Arthur Taylor. This pressing has the yellow/black labels with the "deep groove" under the label on each side; "RVG" is clearly stamped in the trail off, while labels have the "203 South Washington Ave Begrenfield, NJ" address notation. Laminated jacket is EX (excellent), showing some minor handling and and some minor ring wear on back cover. LP is a shiny and clean EX as well, showing a few minor paper marks and age spotting. Playback is solid throughout, while labels are crisp with no spindle wear. First - and nicest - original of this one I have come across in years!
