ROCK N RECORDS
KEITH WHITLEY - One LP vinyl record. L.A. To Miami. RCA Victor CPL1-7043. Condition: Cover VG (Very Good). Vinyl VG (Very Good). The record was Sound Tested and plays excellent, no skips. There are no cover seam splits or tears. There is a 1/2" saw cut in lower left cover corner area, see scan. The back cover has remnants where two stickers were & 4 asterisk marks in ink are lightly visible and shown in a scan picture. Visually the vinyl look near perfect with only 1 light hairline mark on Side B which has no effect on the sound, a non-feelable line about one inch. READ THIS: The vinyl plays and sounds perfect. Vinyl has a slight rise in the middle when laid flat and when laid on the other side the out edge circle looks slightly raised. So when playing Side B only, you can see the outer edge of the vinyl is higher and the stylus needle arm moves slightly up and down but does not effect the playing sound. Once the needle stylus gets to the second track song it quits that and the stylus moves evenly without movement up and down. This can be described as a defect but is not a warp. It could have been caused by manufacture or storage like stacking LP's on top of each other. I want bidders to know this detail which could have been overlooked if I had not Sound Tested it. Sit back and enjoy the great music instead of watching the stylus move on Side B, Song 1!
With my grading system of used records there would be two grades possible above this one which could be VG+ (Better than Very Good) and M- (Mint Minus).
SIDE 1: Miami My Amy, I've Got The Heart For You, I Get The Picture, I Wonder Where You Are Tonight.
SIDE 2: Ten Feet Away, That Stuff, Nobody In His Right Mind Would've Left Her, On The Other Hand.
Keith Whitley's 1st full studio LP and his second LP release. Contained several songs that made Top Country Billboard.
Big Hits here for George Strait and Randy Travis but great versions here. They were later both No. 1 hits for those artists.
WE USE GOLDMINE MAGAZINE RECORD GRADING & THE COVER & RECORD EACH GET A GRADE AS FOLLOWING: M (MINT); M- (MINT MINUS); VG+ (BETTER THAN VERY GOOD); VG (VERY GOOD); VG- (LESS THAN VERY GOOD); G+ (BETTER THAN GOOD); G (GOOD). We don't grade any records M (Mint) unless it is believed or known they have never been played. G+ & G records are filler vinyl, until a better copy can be found, and we don't usually deal in these records unless it may be quite rare.
