KAREN DALTON LP IN MY OWN TIME (Just Sunshine/Paramount Records PAS 6008)
Still in original shrink wrap, which is smooth & free of holes or tears. Original 1971 US stereo pressing on the yellow Just Sunshine/Paramount label. (This is the only album I've ever seen on the obscure Just Sunshine label). There is a tiny one eighth inch cut-out hole in the bottom left corner (which does not affect play). Side B opens with "In a Station" which was written by The Band's Richard Manuel for their "Music From Big Pink" LP. Karen sings and plays autoharp & 12 string guitar. Harvey Brooks produced this album & plays on it. So does John Hall (guitar), John Simon (piano), & Amos Garrett. Old Greenwich Village folkie Fred Neil wrote the liner notes & seemes to have played a major role in Karen's career. Other songs are by Dino Valenti (Quicksilver), George Jones & Holland-Dozier-Holland. This copy is in nice shape; I think you will gain great pleasure as you listen to it. No seam splits, stains, creases, smudges, tape, water damage or stickers. No ring wear, speckling or rubbing. Deep, rich, unfaded color. (Cover has been well protected from harsh sunlight.) Nice flat cover with no waves, bows, bends, waves or ripples. Spine print looks excellent & is fully readable. Cut-out hole is fairly tidy with just a bit of fraying. Label looks excellent with no marks. Sharp cut hole free of spindle brushings.
DISC - NM
We give great importance to grading our items accurately. Platter surface is free of scratches, flecks, warps, skips or residue on the playing surface & dead wax. Nice-looking rainbow sheen. One tiny manufacturing dimple & a faint inaudible shadow scuff or two. Album has been safely stored upright in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment.
