Description
The Judy Bailey Quartet features pianist Bailey, Ken James (sax), Ron Philpott (bass), and John Pochee (drums). The record, “Colours”, was recorded in 1976 and features four (long) tracks including 2 Bailey compositions plus two by Philpott. An Australian pressing on the audiophile Eureka label (E103), the record is of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The gatefold cover has a small scuff on the back, anis otherwise excellent. On the back Bailey has written in black pen “To Bob with my very best wishes”, and she has signed and dated this.
