A WORD ABOUT PRICE RESERVES:

A reserve is as much of a price tease as it is protection for the seller. Ebay has made it prohibitively expensive to put a "reserve price" on items such as this because all they want are sellers that are big volume dealers to compete with their competitor (you know who).  You must know a butcher this special would have a fairly high reserve, so I will just put the starting price at the reserve on this one. Please be aware, you cannot go wrong on buying this butcher, and as with everything I sell, you have my money back satisfaction guarantee if not satatisfied.

AUCTION SPECIFICS AND CONDITION:              A supreme example of what a well-preserved and beautiful 2nd state butcher cover looks like.  This #6 Los Angeles plant butcher cover is a beautiful white all over both back and front.    All of the seams are rock solid without any splits or cracks.  The V of Ringo's black shirt is gloriously visible as you can see in the one picture.  The whole package is extremely nice with a bright glossy VG++ record and sleeve.
There really isn't any balding on the corners at the mouth that you usually find with most copies.  This butcher has square corners at the mouth without any cracks or balding at all.  What I referring to is wear on usually finds on the corners of the mouth from sliding the cardboard sleeve in and out of storage.  All of the printing is bold and crisp on the back.  No stains any where except for a mark on the front of the corner near the trunk.  I cannot tell what it is from.  I do not think it is any kind of ink or marker.  It might be an anomaly from the factory.  The only wear of any magnitude is on the lower spine below the Capitol logo which is still vivid and very much intact.  The catalog number is where it has been lightly rubbed, and the corner has a little tap to it from storage or moving around.
All of the signs tell me that this beautiful butcher cover was not handled that much as I see butchers all the time, and few are this nice.  It is the last one I have, and its one of the best LA's I have seen in a long time.  Actually, I was holding it back for myself to frame with a peel, but I have decided to go another direction with that.  These are really getting hard to find nice.  I guarantee you this Beatles Butcher is nicer than you will get from any of the big Beatles dealers, and your complete satisfaction is guaranteed.
Check out my other auctions too as I am selling some great stuff from all genres of music and memorabilia.  Email me with any questions.
I have some very significant items from various artists being offered - many of which you do not see that often.
