VINYL (Visual Grade):  Solid NM to NM-  (LP looks like new. Great shine and extremely well cared for.  Maybe played once?  EXCELLENT!)

COMMENTS:   This is an original CRAMPS pressing in fantastic condition.  Some info on this LP from another auction :  "A great Fluxus sound art performance involving 12 prepared pianos played by Hidalgo with assistance from fellow ZAJ founder Walter Marchetti. Includes original inner sleeve with additional artwork. This lp is listed in the Broken Music catalog of artists' record works.

Hidalgo is a composer and multimedia artist who studied under John Cage, Nadia Boulanger, David Tudor, and Bruno Maderna, was influenced by Zen Buddhism, Marcel Duchamp, Erik Satie, Buenaventura Durruti, and futurist F.T. Marinetti, worked with Max Neuhaus and Herman Nitsch, and with Walter Marchetti, Ramon Barce, and Esther Ferrer founded the ZAJ group (the Spanish wing of the Fluxus movement, associated with Yoko Ono, Nam June Paik, George Maciunas, Milan Knizak, Joseph Beuys, Toshi Ichiyanagi, Philip Corner, Richard Maxfield, Emmett Williams, Paul Panhuysen, Takehisa Kosugi, La Monte Young, etc.). He was one of the artists of Gino di Maggio’s Galleria Multhipla and collaborates with Cramps label founder Gianni Sassi on the annual MILANO-POESIA festival. Marchetti is an Italian conceptual artist and experimental composer who worked with John Cage, Morton Feldman, Leopoldo La Rosa, Jose Luis Castillejo, and Bruno Maderna and attended the famous Darmstadt courses in the 50s alongside Stockhausen, Evangelisti, Nono, Boulez, Goeyvaerts, Messiaen, Ligeti, etc. This lp was released on the legendary Cramps label, home of the Nova Musicha and DIVerso series which also featured John Cage, Area, Fernando Grillo, Derek Bailey, Robert Ashley, Alvin Lucier, Demetrio Stratos, Mario Schiano, Steve Lacy, Cornelius Cardew, Gruppo Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza, Petr Kotik, etc."

All LP's are shipped using professional LP record mailers.  The LP will be removed from the jacket to avoid spine damage during shipment.  All LP's are shipped with 2 cardboard  pads for extra protection.  A poly sleeve is also included.  All boxes are stamped FRAGILE,  KEEP AWAY FROM HEAT & DO NOT BEND.  As a record collector for over 20 years and as a record seller of over 10 years, I pack with extra care.

1 LP is $4.00 for Media Mail & Delivery Confirmation.  Priority Mail is also available as Media Mail can be and is often slow.  Priority Mail is $7.50.  I will accept M.O.'s & Checks as well.  Email me first.   

International Shipping

Canada : First Class International Mail (FCIM) is $7.50 for 1 LP.
UK : 1 LP is $14.00 for FCIM .
ALL OTHER COUNTRIES : Please pay $15.00 for FCIM.
