Joy Division: Closer orig 1st press translucent red LP
Description
You are bidding on a rare 1st pressing of the classic 2nd Joy Division LP.
This has the all important A1/B1 matrix numbers and shines through a translucent red/purple when held up to a strong light. Ive found it very hard to photograph as, due to my house being full of low energy lightbulbs there isnt a bulb strong enough to show it off to its full extent!!!
Weirdly enough, although the record is a definite first pressing i dont believe the inner sleeve is from the same pressing. it does not have the rounded corners and is a flimsier material.
The record i would grade as VG+ as it does have some marks on it but these do not sound and the album still sounds great! There is a light crackle between a couple of tracks but it still sounds fine.
