Welcome to a listing from my personal record collection.

A vinyl journey spanning some 18 years and over 1000 pressings from 1977 to 1995.

An absolutely superb copy of Joy Division's 1980 single.

Genuine first UK pressing on dark red translucent vinyl.

Matt/satin coated sleeve with UK printed at the bottom of the back cover.


The condition of the playing surfaces is superb, there is one extremely superficial hairline on each side,

aside from these the vinyl is in as good condition as the day it was pressed

I have play tested and the sound quality is superb. As close to near mint as a VG+ can possibly get.


The outer sleeve is also in superb condition. Corners are all sharp and un damaged. The spine is also in excellent condition.

There is a very small amount of age discolouration to the open edge of the front and back cover,

but over all the sleeve is in truly excellent condition.

There is a small amount of ring wear to top of the front cover, but again this is minimal.

Before photographing, each record was cleaned using a Knosti disco-antistat record cleaner using a solution

of 1:8 parts Isopropyl Alcohol to De-ionised water, with a couple of drops of a surfactant.

If necessary, records were given a hands on clean, as bellow, followed by a second run through the Knosti.


1 - Removal of any surface dust with a light brushing over with a carbon fibre and velvet disc cleaning pad

2 - Deep cleaning with large (Big Fudge) velvet pad and cleaning solution

3 - A final brushing with a Pro-Ject carbon fibre record brush.


I am a professional photographer by trade, and have gone to great lengths to light and photograph covers, inner sleeves

and the vinyl themselves in such a way as to show, as accurately as possible, the actual condition of all.

Rest assured that what you see is exactly what will be despatched to you if you are the successful winner of each listing.

I personally wouldn't bid on a pre-owned record without the option to return it if I felt that the seller hadn't been

totally truthful and transparent in their description of it, or that on receipt it didn't live up to my expectations. 

And I do not expect you to do so either. 


Unless otherwise stated every record was purchased by myself from new and only ever played

by myself on my own deck and with as expensive a cartridge as I could afford at the time.


And finally, because Mr or Mrs  Poasty may not handle your record with the same care and reverence that you or I would,

I will dispatch in a specialised corrugated cardboard record mailing outer, and if I feel even more protection is required

I will also include two extra sheets of 3mm corrugated cardboard for added safety and protection.
