100 % GENUINE ORIGINAL 1978 PRESSING OF AN IDEAL FOR LIVING by JOY DIVISION ON THE ENIGMA LABEL. HAS ALL THE IDENTIFYING FEATURES TO DISTINGUISH FROM FAKES ARE CONTOURED LABELS (MATT AS OPPOSED TO SHINY) 1MM GAP BETWEEN "COPYRIGHT" TEXT AND EDGE OF LABEL AS OPPOSED TO 3MM. ONLY THE ORIGINAL HAS THE SERRATED RING AROUND THE LABEL. Cat. No. PSS 139 MATRIX/RUNOUT Side A Runout PSS - 139 - EP - A - 1 EGMATRIX/RUNOUT Side B runout PSS - 139 - EP - B - 1 EG Original 7" EP edition. 1000 copies, released on the band's own label. The sleeve was printed on a 14" x 14" piece of thin cardstock and then folded into four squares.

Numerous counterfeit editions of this release exist. Only the original has serrated vinyl around the label and different contours on the label.
VINYL VG+ has a couple of very light marks and a small manufacturing tear by the spindle (nothing drastic) as seen in the picture. Barely played and has a nice sheen with no obvious flaws other than that stated. Would be grading it higher if it was not for the light marks. SLEEVE EXC- some minor wear and light creasing (photos). LABELS VG++ bit of spidering near spindle hole on one side
