You have the opportunity to bid on a very rare collection of 25 Joy Division records. All discs have been lovingly stored away from light and damp. There are 16 official releases and 9 unofficial/bootlegs. I have been stringent with grading of both sleeves and records. The highlights include An Ideal For Living (7”+12”) and A Factory Sample (2x7”) with all 5 stickers. I have had the collection valued independently and set the reserve at 50% below this level.

Official Releases:

AN IDEAL FOR LIVING 12" PS ANON 1 Anonymous Records: 1978 original release. Warsaw, No Love Lost, Leaders of Men, Failures. Groove notations: "Don't ever let it fade away" (side A), and "Feel it closing in" (side B) - from the lyrics to "Digital". Very rare. Condition EX/EX. Slight wear on top of picture sleeve.

AN IDEAL FOR LIVING 7" PS Enigma Records PSS 139. 1978 release. Warsaw, No Love Lost, Leaders of Men, Failures. The poster sleeve is printed on a 14" x 14" piece of thin card and then folded. Run out grooves – PSS-139-EP-A1 and PSS-139-EP-B1 with EG etched. My view is that this is in too good condition to be an original although I would dearly love it to be. However, I purchased it from a record store in Hull in 1986 for quite a high price so the lucky buyer may well be very lucky. Condition M/M.
