Johnny Harris, Movements.

The debut album by Arranger/Composer Johnny Harris is a great cult LP on many a wants list.

A mix of covers and originals, including a funky 'Stepping Stones' and the mellow 'Footprints on the Moon' which was actually written for the moon landing.

Light My Fire' features a superb brass section and 'Paint it Black' starts off as a slow piano piece and transforms into a full blown orchestral piece.

Some great phasing effects too!

1970 UK pressed Warner Bros Records stereo LP, WS 3002.

Earliest dark orange and black label, with A1/B1 matrix suffixes.

Vinyl in visually excellent condition. A few faint spider trace marks visible at centre spindle areas, but vinyl surfaces are glossy and unmarked bar just a very few small and barely visible superficial paper scuffs. Just one of these is more immediately visible, but still surface only.

Playback is superb throughout, plays like a mint. No background noise at all, a great copy of this one.

Labels are clean and unmarked both sides.

Sleeve in excellent condition. Just a little very light and minor handling creasing and laminate pinches and half moons. No tears, seam splits, scuffs, marks, stickers or pen damage. Tips and extremities in excellent condition with just hints of whitening to tips, very minor. Fully laminated front and rear, the high gloss makes this a difficult sleeve to photograph accurately. Suffice to say that the sleeve looks very much better in the flesh. (Small white mark at top right is not a scrape but a laminate hairline).
