Up for bid is a rare out of print LP, "Unchained," by Johnny Cash, featuring Tom Petty, Flea (of Red Hot Chili Peppers, and members of Fleetwood Mac. This was released by American Recordings (9 43097-1) in 1996. LP is VG++, with several tiny faint scuffs. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. LP plays with minimal surface noise (some light crackle) - sounds great! Jacket is VG++, with no seam splits - still in the original shrink wrap. There is very light wear along the mouth of the jacket. Includes original interior info sheet, with no creases or tears. Here is some extra info about this LP from wikipedia:

Unchained is the second album in Johnny Cash's American Recording series. On the album, Cash is backed by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Like all Cash's albums for American, it is produced by Rick Rubin. Unchained focuses more on covers and less on original material than the first album (American Recordings) in the series.

In addition to three of Cash's own compositions, Unchained contained songs by Soundgarden ("Rusty Cage") and Beck ("Rowboat"), as well as a guest appearance from Flea, bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, on "Spiritual" and Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood, of Fleetwood Mac, on "Sea of Heartbreak". The album also included a cover of the classic 1962 Hank Snow song, "I've Been Everywhere", written by Geoff Mack..
