Description
One of the last signed Johnny Cash albums from my Cash and Country collection. This is the Canadian Litho version of the album ‘BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS.’ Though the cardboard LP sleeve isn’t in the best shape, the signature and ‘best wishes’ note have held up very well. This does not come with a Certificate of Authenticity, but it was signed by Cash when he came to play at the Wembley Arena in the UK in 1986.
Though it’s nice on a personal level to have things signed to yourself, it’s also good to see that this is signed ‘best wishes’ but not addressed to anybody specifically. As a collector of signed memorabilia I know I’m not so keen to have items in my collection signed personally to other individuals. That being said, it’s signed by Johnny Cash, and that’s a pretty big thing - especially on this album and under these circumstances!
Despite not providing this album with a COA, the last two pictures I have attached show similar examples of ‘best wishes’ notes and signatures by the Man in Black.
Regardless of where in the world this rare and lovable LP is to be sent, it will be sent tracked and signed. I’m not having an item like this go missing or damaged. I will be sad to see it go, but I’m collecting in other areas of country now. That being said, Cash is the foundation - and far from which I shall not stray.

Additional: as can be seen from the pictures, the LP sleeve has noticeable wear and tear. No seam slitting, however. The original LP liner is missing, but it has been replaced with a high-density anti-static LP liner.
Condition of the record again isn’t fantastic, but I’m assuming any buyer is interested in this for the autograph - not the album itself. Plays alright, but has a bit of static and the occasional pop. I’d grade it around the high side of G+.
