INCREDIBLY RARE COMBINATION OF TWO HYPE STICKERS

Beautiful copy of John Lennon~Plastic Ono Band solo debut album. Still factory sealed cover with an incredibly rare combination of two hype stickers. A clear with the red text "LATEST JOHN LENNON featuring HOLD ON JOHN..." track listing sticker and a black background with the white "JOHN LENNON 3372" text sticker. Most likely, this copy is a very early pressing as the black “JOHN LENNON” sticker on the later copies contains the “Printed in USA” text. Both stickers are affixed to the shrink wrap. The back cover contains "Manufactured by Apple Records, Inc. 1700 Broadway, New York, N.Y. 10019 Printed in U.S.A" in the lower left-hand corner. Original custom Apple Records SW 3372 catalog number label with the "Produced By John and Yoko and Phil Spector Recorded in England" text at the bottom of both sides. All of the issues of this album include an original custom inner sleeve with the "For Yoko with love John Lennon 9/10/70" dedication handwritten by John and a sketch drawing of John and Yoko below the text. The inner sleeve includes the song lyrics and credits (including Ringo Starr). When this album was released in the UK, EMI Records made sure that each "f**cking" in the "Working Class Hero" was bowdlerized through the use of asterisks on the inner sleeve. However, despite Capitol Records' concerns, in the US the album didn't undergo any censorship. Therefore, the lyrics printed on the inner sleeve still contain "f**cking" in "Working Class Hero" and "c**k" in "I Found Out" (Please see a stock photo of the profanities located on the inner sleeve). As a bonus to this copy, the listing includes a vintage 1973 10” x 7.5”  wire press photo of John and Yoko taken on April 2 during the press conference related to John’s appeal of the federal deportation order. The album is in pristine Mint condition with only some very light barely noticeable bumping to the top and bottom right corners. The shrink wrap with the original breathe holes, one on each side, is fully intact and doesn't have any splits, tears or missing pieces.
