Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of “John Jenkins” on the West 63rd (no INC) labels of Blue Note BLP 1573. The playing surface looks as-new; however, there are two pressing defects: the first, on Side 2 Track 2, produces five light tics; the second, at the end of Side 2, produces seven tics. The laminated West 63rd cover is bright and clean throughout; 3/8” wear at both corners of the top seam; ¼” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening; slight lamination lifting along the opening; “For Promotion” stamped at the upper corners of the back slick.
