This is the ultimate audiophile pressing on HQ 150-gram premium vinyl. Out of print and now extremely rare as they have become highly sought-after. Hand-numbered limited edition #92 out of 3000. Mint condition.

A legend on both tenor and soprano saxophone, John Coltrane stands as a towering titan of modern jazz. His instantly recognizable style-an energetic cascade of notes, honks and squeals-redrew the artistic and emotional boundaries for the entire genre.

The Heavyweight Champion is a priceless 12-LP collection preserving every last note Trane cut for Atlantic Records, with newly remastered sound! It includes an entire disc of never-before-released material (featuring fascinating alternate takes from the legendary Giant Steps sessions), a lavish 12x12 72-page booklet packed with rare photos, interviews, newly penned liner notes, and detailed sessionography.
