Description
John Coltrane / Soultrane / Prestige 7142. Visually the lp is VG. The lp visually has some marks and scratches. One of the scratches on "Good Bait" is borderline feelable. The audio grade would be mixed. The song "Good Bait" has several episodes of recurring tics throughout the song which rendered the song difficult to listen to. The rest of the lp plays better and is quite listenable but still has recurring background noise. I reviewed the entire lp and did not encounter any skips. Consider this description of the audio more accurate than any grade I could assign. The jacket is in solid condition. The bottom right corner has a 1/4 inch spilt. The corners are solid but a bit worn. Ringwear is hardly evident at all except a touch on the front bottom. The colors on the front are vibrant with the white area being quite clean. The spine is readable and well centered. I do not use EX as a grade. I use Sealed / NM / VG++ / VG+ / VG / G. This is an auction for US residents. No international sales.
