This auction is for John Coltrane's "Live At The Half Note" 2-LP pressed 200g by Classic Records, which is now out of print.

The Legendary performances at the Half Note in New York that were for years only available as a bootleg from tapes made off the radio is now available officially for the first time. Coltrane is accompanied by McCoy Tyner on piano, Jimmy Garrison on bass and Elvin Jones on drums performing "One Up One Down", "Afro Blue", "Song of Praise", and "My Favorite Things" on this deluxe 2 LP set with 12 page booklet. The original analog master tapes obtained from the Coltrane family were used by Bernie Grundman to master from and cut lacquers using Classic's "all tube" cutting system. Pressed on Classic's 200g Super Vinyl Profile, this is a must have for serious jazz lovers and audiophiles alike.
