Description

Terre Haute Pressing. Gatefold sleeve. AS-9246-2 appears on cover while AS-9246/2 appears on label. Vinyl is close to excellent. Gatefold sleeve has some ringwear and ever so slight edgewear. Inner sleeves are VG.


Recorded in concert at Koseinenkin Hall, Tokyo, Japan on July 22, 1966 about one year before Coltrane died. While some may find this music annoying, this is free jazz at its finest. Just concentrate and the the interactions take on pace and shape, with metaphysical overtones that have nothing to do with the musical ideas being explored.
