John Coltrane /Archie Shepp

"Blue Train"

Label: Blue Note BST 1577

Condition: VG- disc/cover

Additional info: Classic Coltrane date with some of his most mellifluous playing. Plays with some persistent surface noise, noticeable in the quiet passages. Coltrane's horn is always above the crackle but there is some during the quiet moments, hence the grade. Cover has writing on the back, heavy wear to spine and a 5" center split. Also with Lee Morgan, Kenny Drew and Paul Chambers. Dead wax has Van Gelder stamp and plastylite ear, 'r' at bottom, deep groove on both sides, the whole schmeer, just not a-1 condition. Playable if flawed copy.

Naturally multi-disc sets and special packaging may affect shipping rates.

All items are fully guaranteed, including return shipping (in the US only). Overseas may opt for registration if they have had problems with delivery in the past but we are careful packagers and you should not have any problems, although of course we cannot guarantee the postal service's reliability in your country.  Registration is $12. We can also add insurance at the buyer's request. You may also purchase delivery confirmation, which includes tracking. We will provide Delivery Confirmation at no charge for orders over $20.

Records are graded under a bright, direct light and playgraded when needed. Sealed records are never rewrapped by us. We strive to ensure that all items are legitimate, factory issues and are in clean, enjoyable condition. Any defects will be noted in the description.
