Vinyl Condition
Very Good – Visually this album is in fantastic condition. Despite its age it has maintained its sheen and shows only a small number of surface scratches. The labels on both sides of the album show no marks whatsoever. There is minimal static but no major deterioration in the audio quality.
Sleeve Condition
Good+ – This heavy duty sleeve cover has a split on the spine and slight discolouration on the rear. There are a number of small scuffs on the edges but the front of the sleeve shows no blemishes (as can be seen in the photo).
Additional Information
This is the 1957 Mono High Fidelity recording of the much sought after album by the legendary John Coltrane. The album is etched with RVG and the ear symbol on both sides. The matrix numbers are BN-LP-1577-A / BN-LP-1577-B with a further etching of 9M. The unblemished label shows the address 47 West 63rd NYC on both sides. This album and sleeve are in remarkable condition and will be a great addition to any jazz collection.
