Description

Blue Train Mono Blue Note 47 West 63rd NYC on both labels and album jacket Ear both sides, RVG stamped, No R, No Inc.
Now the bad news: There is a significant and nasty looking scratch on I’m Old Fashioned (Side 2, Track 2). It runs through about half the track and produces a significant pop every revolution. On my Rega 3 it did not skip, but I only tested it once. It might skip on more sensitive equipment and it might not. You might not want to subject your equipment to the test. It’s a shame because although Side 1 and the other two tunes on Side 2 do have intermittent crackle and a few lesser pops - the rest of the record or the other four numbers are a solid VG - if not better.
I tried to photograph the scratch on Side 2 Track 2 as best I could. Be cautioned: it’s a serious flaw in this first pressing of a great record. Bid accordingly. There are a number of light scratches on Side 2 and a few on Side 1 as well. Both labels are clean but have a number of spindle marks.
The Cover has a two inch piece of black tape in the middle of the spine where it has worn through and all four corners have dings. Both the top and bottom of the opening have about one inch splits (all pictured). No writing.

I should not have used dashes (-) in my description. Some might mistake my VG for VG-. I actually should have written the other four numbers are VG/VG+ if not better.

Bid accordingly here too.

I did listen another time on more sensitive equipment and there is varying amounts of crackle on all the other tunes. VG/VG- is probably the best appraisal. Sorry for the confusion.
