Mega Rare LP of John Coltrane - Blue Train (Blue Note 1577 - mono) Original blue and white labels with 63rd St address, Deep Groove, ear and RVG on both sides. No trademark "R" on either side. Coltrane's only Blue Note LP also features Lee Morgan, Curtis Fuller, Kenny Drew and others in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in solid VG+ condition with some marks that may make a bit of noise - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either - actually pretty nice for one of these. The cover is in VG+ condition with general age/shelf wear and a five inch split on the top seam. There is some tape staining visible on the back liner, though the cover does not actually have any tape on it. NO writing, NO stamps, NO stickers. NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore?
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world). Mailing costs as calculated below to a U.S. address.
