Joe Whyte-Stop Look & Listen To Your Heart/Version 1 (Prestige 197?). Rare reggae 45 from Joe Whyte on the Prestige label out of Jamaica. Great and in-demand vocal tune backed by the instrumental version. The record is a solid G+ with heavy non-feelable marks, non-feelable scratches, non-feelable hairline scratches, and scuffs. There is a shallow feelable scratch at the beginning of the vocal side. The scratch is about half an inch long and causes clicks and heavy crackle for the first forty-five seconds of the song. The rest of the vocal song as well the instrumental version play with light steady background groove noise as well as some scattered tics and clicks. Both songs play strong with big booming sound. The record has a mild storage lift that tracks fine. The labels have mild wear and some faded letters. The record grooves on both songs are pressed mildly off center but this does not affect play. The labels on both sides are off center but this does not affect play. Found in an old generic sleeve, so a new plain white generic paper sleeve will be provided.
