More grading info: The disk is the best example I have seen, the record according to the labels appears to have only been played a few times in relation to it's age. The cover has a small split on the plastic bag at the bottom, around one inch in size, very small this is caused by the disk over time and is not due to any mishandling. A very good example. SEE THE PHOTOS.

NO WRITTING ON THE LABELS OR THE SLEEVE.

THE LP IS THIS YEAR 50 YEARS OLD - NOT MANY HAVE SURVIVED AND THE ONES LEFT ARE ON OFFER AT VERY HIGH PRICES!

All records are given a brand new plastic sleeve and a new plastic inner sleeve is also used to store the disk, the old sleeve will be sent along with the record.
We take packaging very seriously to ensure the disk arrives to you in the EXACT state shown is the auction!



NOTE: Brazilian LP's are much more fragile than their U.K, U.S.A counterparts, the sleeve/jacket is usually thinner and in general people tended not to care very well for their investments (LP's). Due to this we have an adapted grading scale which is specific to Brazilian LP's.

We do our absolute best to note as many flaws as possible in the records we sell.

Mint - Near Mint - Excellent Plus - Excellent - Excellent Minus - Very Good Plus Plus - Very Good Plus - Regular

Mint is perfect. It looks like it was pressed today. New. Only for sealed records. This grading used once in a lifetime. If you own a mint Brazilian record you are a lucky person!

Near Mint or NM is nearly perfect, just very minor flaws which will be detailed in the description, this applies for the vinyl disk and the sleeve. Just a few VERY minor flaws. The disk will have a mirror like surface and the flaws will only be visible under a bright lamp. In other words it looks practically new. This grading is used rarely and with great care.

Excellent Plus or EX+ is when the disk has only superficial scuffs which do not seem visible under normal light, the disk will have maintaned it's glossy sheen, the sleeve will have light wear which will be noted such as light shelfwear, super light corner bumps and light ringwear.

Excellent or EX is when the disk has superficial scuffs above the grooves and just a few very light scratches. The disk has been played but still maintained it's glossy appearance for the most part, the cover will have light to moderate wear coming through such as ringwear, shelfwear and light to moderate fraying on and around the region of the opening and maybe a small signature or two which will ALWAYS be noted along with light corner bumps.

Excellent Minus or EX- is when the disk has been played but cared for well, the disk will have moderate scuffing. The disk will have light scratches. The sleeve will have moderate wear and maybe a signature or two which will ALWAYS be noted. The sleeve may have a partial seam split or some light tears, light to moderate fraying on and around the opening and light to moderate shelfwear and light to moderate corner bumps.

Very Good Plus Plus or VG++ is like a like an EX MINUS disk except more exaggerated. The disk will have noticable marks and/or scuffs/light scratches which WILL NOT effect playback adversely. The sleeve will have more than moderate wear but not heavy wear, there may be small writting and/or seam splits and/or moderate fraying on the opening and that region of the sleeve and/or moderate corner bumps and light tears.

Very Good Plus or VG+ is when the disk is notably scratched. The scratches will NOT MAKE THE NEEDLE SKIP. The sleeve will have some writting, ringwear, frayed opening, moderate/heavy to corner bumps/bends, shelf wear, ringwear and possible a full seam split and/or tape on one or more borders, it may also have light to moderate tears.

Regular or R is when the disk is a bit beaten up, the sleeve is not a pretty sight. DON'T EXPECT MUCH FROM A RECORD IN "R" CONDITION!

Insert's, with +,++ or +++ and -, -- and --- to indicate levels in between the grades

MINT or M is when the insert looks perfect. This grading is for a sealed record.

Excellent or EX is when the insert has some light age spots, light creases and maybe a small tear ot two, this will be noted though.

Very Good or VG is when the insert has some tears, creases, discolouration, writting and moderate age spots, this will be noted though.

Regular: or R is when the insert is in bad condition, don't expect much from a Regular insert, this will be noted though.
