Description

The Incredible Jimmy Smith at Club "Baby Grand," Blue Note 1528, original Lexington address pressing, deep groove, RVG, ear.  Disk is nice VG with light scratches, plays strong.  Cover has a three-inch bottom seam split, a five-inch top seam split, some general age wear, and some staining along the bottom edge of the back cover slick.  Back cover address is W. 63rd.  

Grading

M  Perfect

M- Close to perfect--perhaps a couple of very minor marks that do not affect play, but a beautiful record  

VG+  Some light marks, full shine, great looking record

VG  More light marks and scratches, still a very shiny record, will typically have some pops and crackles

VG-  Played or used more heavily, lots of scratches, more pronounced surface noise, but still plays through okay

G  Rough looking record, lots of noise

Records are packed as follows:  The LP (in its paper sleeve) is removed from the cover and both are placed in a heavy polyethylene jacket.  This is then placed between two cardboard filler pads, and sent in a new, professional LP shipping box.
