Description
For auction is an original vinyl album - Jimmy Buffett - Son of a Son of a Sailor from ABC Records, dated and copyrighted 1978. The front of the album is initialed "JB" by Jimmy Buffett.
Album folds out lengthwise to reveal a centerpiece detailed in the photo below.
An insert is enclosed in the right side of the foldout, containing a separate, original cover that contains the vinyl itself. The insert contains the lyrics to all of the songs included int he vinyl.
All graphics included on the album / in the foldout / in the insert are included in the pictures.
The vinyl itself has only a couple of minor scratches but is otherwise in excellent condition, although this is probably meant to be a collector's item and not something that is actually played on a record player.
The corners and edges of the album show a lot of wear, and the insert that holds the record which is folded over and still glued with the original glue is very fragile. While the album overall is in good condition, it is over 30 years old and is not in mint condition. Please be advised of this when bidding.
The place where Jimmy Buffett signed the album is in very good condition and the marker has not faded. There is no certificate of authenticity, as this album has been in my family of Parrotheads for years, but a full refund will of course be given if any individual can show that the signature is not authentic within seven days.
