JIMI HENDRIX Electric Jimi Hendrix - Record Club Issue (Ultra Rare original 1968 UK Track records WITHDRAWN 9-track LP. This was scheduled for release solely to UK Polydor Record Club members in 1968 and was released as a 'teaser' album prior tothe forthcoming double album, Electric Ladyland that same year. Only a few hundred copies were ever issued before the album was shelved, apparently at Jimi's insistence as was unhappy with the whole concept.
CONDITION
[SLEEVE] The unique picture sleeve has minimal ring wear or edge scuffing, with just some minor marks in places . The rear of the sleeve displays the corresponding minimal ring wear as the front. All titles are clearly visible & the spine is fully legible. The sleeve was printed by Polydor records and not EJ Day of London, which were to become the printers for Electric Ladyland.
[VINYL] The vinyl is in nice condition with just a couple of obvious surface scuffs & no distinct pops or clicks evident. There is minimal spindle wear & no writing or other defects to the label.
