Title: Roland Kovac New Set-Nymphe

This is the original first pressing from 1979 on the german SELECTED SOUNDS library label.The line-up is from solo-piano(on 2 tracks),via trios consisting of piano/bass/drums(sometimes underlayed with some synth-sounds)to a more complex instrumentation with reeds and all kinds of synths,keyboards and other electronic devices.

“Straps”is a nice trio-groover;”Nymphe”starts with a 1.00 min space-intro with female sci-fi choir before starting to groove;”Oiltime”is in the same cosmic-disco vein;”Caution”has some great echo-flutes over a cool beat;there are some abstract funk tracks like “City Of Glass”or”Bass Ahoi”,the latter having a fat bass improvising over a disco-beat plus some high-pitched pianoloops;my personal favourite”Traumfrau”is like a late 60ies groovy Morricone-track with awesome female scat-vocals throughout the whole track...Highly recommended!

Condition:there are a few superficial,tiny & short hairlines on the first track on the second side,the rest of the record looks as new in mint-.The whole record plays in mint- all of the time.The cover has intact seams/spine and shows only slightest wear,ex+.

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a Rega Super Elys moving magnet system and I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.As a free service,cleaned records are stored in a brandnew deluxe innersleeve and the cover will be placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve!
