Description

Acquired in 2004 at auction from the collection of longtime Hendrix producer Eddie Kramer- this is the 2 sided EP sized reference acetate with mono and stereo single mixes/edits of a screaming live version of "Johnny B. Goode"- Berkeley Community Theatre, Berkeley, Ca., May 30, 1970 with Billy Cox and Mitch Mitchell remixed by Mr. Kramer in early 1971 for release on 1972's excellent Hendrix In the West album. Both sides clock in at 4:00. With the exception of a few smudges and paper scuffs mostly in the outer deadwax, this acetate in clean and glossy VG + condition, plays with awesome fidelity and minimum surface noise- play tested once, recorded on tape for posterity and carefully put away. Comes with signed COA shown below. You will not be disappointed. Paypal preferred, Cash or Money Order in US Dollars - preferred postage calculated for lucky winner
