This is a straight transfer from the actual record in this auction, with NO noise reduction or click removal processes applied. This will give you a basic idea of the playing condition of this record. Please be aware that mono records are properly transferred summed to mono, which generally cancels out some of the surface noise. Mono records played in stereo will sound more noisy. I can't accept returns for mono records that don't sound as good played in stereo.
Notes: Guaranteed original press. Extremely scarce original/official contemporaneous copy (NOT a bootleg!) of a white label promotional LP (in plain white jacket) featuring Jerry Goldsmith's score for the obscure early 1960s documentary film "The General With The Cockeyed Id." This was a film about the general contracting industry. One side features the entire 20-minute soundtrack including the film's narration, while the other side omits the narration, but the music volume level "ducks" for the narration remain. Could be a viable source copy for a legitimate release of this soundtrack, assuming the original master tapes no longer exist anywhere, but it would be up to the winning bidder to secure proper licensing/permissions. Please study pics for further info.
