Description

VERY early and VERY difficult to find Flat Edge original mono pressing of The Jazz Messengers At The Cafe Bohemia Volume 1 Blue Note 1507.  This 1955 pressing has the 767 Lexington Avenue NYC address with "the Ear" and "Deep Grooves" on both sides.  No trademark after "Note" on these old original pressings.

The extremely heavy vinyl (240 grams?) plays VG+ on my TD124/SPU mono cartridge with some surface noise but no skips.  Nothing sounds like these old original flat edge monos!  The cover is VG with seam splits on both the top and bottom and chipping on the edges.  Pretty average wear for an LP of this age.

Players include:

Horace Silver - Piano

Hank Mobley -Tenor Sax

Art Blakey - Drums

Kenny Dorham - Trumpet

Doug Watkins - Bass

I will ship worldwide and as always, my albums are guaranteed or your money back.  I pack my albums extremely well and ship in sturdy LP mailers.

Please check my feedback and bid with confidence.

Thanks for looking!
