    NM   Near Mint. Record and cover appear virtually unmarked. Cover still in shrink.

    VG++ A hair under near mint may have only a couple of insignificant surface only lines that should cause

    only very minimal sound defects. Cover out of shrink otherwise close to perfect

    VG+  Used but not abused. Some surface lines.  Will have some relatively slight audible imperfections.

    VG…  There will be visual imperfections and  some audible ones . May be a number of surface only lines or there might be a small scratch but not one that  repeats, 

    VG- .. Usually the lowest rating I will list an LP at. Same as VG but defects are more pronounced.
