LP 12" (30cm) :
Jan Dukes de Grey - Mice And Rats In The Loft
Rare UK 1st edition from 1971.
Comes with the original plastic inner pocket, and for this, as usual, for about 2 minutes of roundwise hissing on the beginning of one side - in this case on side two (see last picture).
Discogs says to this problem : "Gatefold laminated cover with inner plastic bag attached inside the gatefold (Av/Pak). This inner bag had a strip of sponge along the top designed to wipe clean the disc every time it was taken out of the wallet. Inevitably this resulted in hairlines on many copies; worse still, over time this sponge degraded and reacted with the vinyl, creating a noisy mark on the playing surface which is impossible to remove."

Zustand der Platten insgesamt (altogether) VG
(anscheinend wenig gespielt - ca. 2 Minuten rundenweises Zischgeräusch am Anfang von Seite 2 - sonst (besides) :
leichte Hüllenspuren, NICHT hörbar - keine hörbaren Kratzer - akustisch (acoustically) NM),
Cover VG+ (original-Innenhülle hat sich gelöst, müsste neu angeklebt werden).
Bewertungsschema :
M = Mint - wie neu, Platte ungespielt.
NM = Near Mint (Mint Minus) - keine hörbaren Kratzer, keine bis kaum Fremdgeräusche, kaum oder wenig gespielt, Cover fast wie neu.
VG+ = Very Good Plus - keine hörbaren Kratzer, leichte Fremdgeräusche, wenig oder öfter gespielt, Cover zwischen fast wie neu und leicht abgenutzt.
VG = Very Good - kaum hörbare Haarkratzer, leichte Fremdgeräusche, wenig oder öfter gespielt, Cover leicht abgenutzt.
Alle Schallplatten werden optisch sehr sorgfältig eingestuft, zumindest teilweise auch akustisch (Linn LP 12 / Grado Master / stereo), insbesondere kritische Stellen.
Hörbare Defekte sind angegeben.
Grading Scheme (here I don't use EX !!) :
M = Mint - as new, record unplayed.
NM = Near Mint (Mint Minus) - no audible scratches, no to hardly any background noise, barely or a bit played, cover almost new.
VG+ = Very Good Plus - no audible scratches, minor background noise, a bit or a bit more played, cover between almost new and light wear.
VG = Very Good - hairlines, which are hardly audible, minor background noise, a bit or a bit more played, cover has light wear.
All records have been visually graded very carefully. At least partially they have been audio graded (Linn LP 12 / Grado Master / stereo), especially for critical spots.
Audible defects are indicated.
Hinweise zum Transport :
Die Schallplatten werden grundsätzlich in einem neuen Spezialkarton verschickt. Sie werden zusätzlich mit Karton-Füllplatten abgepolstert. Die Platte wird aus dem Cover herausgenommen, um ein Durchschlagen zu vermeiden - bei noch eingeschweißten Platten nicht.
Falls dadurch das für die Versandart zulässige Höchstgewicht nicht überschritten wird :
Eine neue, kunststoffgefütterte Innenhülle für die Platte wird mitgeschickt (nicht bei Boxen !). Eine Außenhülle fürs Cover wird mitgeschickt, was auch für den Transport einen zusätzlichen Schutz bedeutet. Die Original-Innenhülle wird, falls vorhanden und in einem akzeptablen Zustand, beigelegt.

The records are taken out of the sleeve to avoid splitting - if not still sealed.

A brand new innersleeve is included (not with box-sets !). An outersleeve for the cover is included - for additional protection too. The original innersleeve is included if available and in a condition to be worthwhile.
