Description
This is the original Van Gelder-stamped stereo “P”-pressing of Jackie McLean “One Step Beyond” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BST 84137. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated New York 23 cover shows rubbing on the front and 3” superficial wear at the bottom; the top seam has 3 ½” superficial wear at the spine; the spine has small areas of superficial rubbing; the bottom seam has 1 ¼” wear at the opening and ¼” wear at the spine corner; the back slick has age toning around the edges. Blue Note inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Grachan Moncur III, Bobby Hutcherson, Eddie Khan, and Tony Williams. $100.00.
