It’s time time for me to say goodbye to a superb original copy of one of the gems of hard bop, Jackie McLean’s “It’s Time!” It’s the first stereo pressing - runout BNST 84179 with the Plastylitr ear and VAN GELDER STEREO

COVER VG+ Cover is in gorgeous shape for 55 years old. Will also call it a conservative VG+, only because of minor nicks and coloring. Looks like Andy Warhol but they poppy punctuation was by Blue Note’s iconic Reid Miles

VINYL VG+ It shines. Minor marks make this a VG+, but conservatively! It plays just beautifully. No skips.

INNER SLEEVE VG+ Original Blue Note 1965 anniversary Inner Sleeve featuring John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Art Blakey, Donald Byrd and Bud Powell

An uproarious and legendary hard bop set from the remarkable McLean at the height of his power. Herbie Hancock is on piano, ROY HAYNES is on drums, Charles Tolliver on trumpet, and Cecil McGee on bass. Recorded in 1964 and released in 1965.
