Just Urbain – Everybody Loves Just Urbain EP (orig. Australia STEREO Savage Music SM-04/PRS-2815—1980, PICTURE SLEEVE and NUMBERED INSERT, No. “158” out of 200)
Recorded: April 1980 ~ release date: June 1980.
On offer here is an ULTRA RARE original issue of the JUST URBAIN “Burning“ EP. There were ONLY 200 COPIES pressed back in the day (confirmed by Rod McLeod), but most of these are long gone. The recordings contained within these grooves are SNOT PUNK of the highest order from BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA!
This particular disc was obtained from ROD McLEOD himself sometime during 1998. I recall Rod McLeod and fellow record enthusiast Michael Cox calling around to my place. I was living on the southside of Brisbane at the time. Copious amounts of alcohol were consumed – a great time was had by all! Some record trading took place, and this is how I came into possession of this item.
Members of JUST URBAIN also appeared in the following BRISBANE PUNK BANDS: YOUNG IDENTITIES, BODYSNATCHERS, KICKS, SECTION URBANE and THE PINEAPPLES FROM THE DAWN OF TIME (see Digital Photo Image #6 for their various releases).
