JUNIOR BYRON Sunshine (Formula F-001) RARE Disco Canada 1st Pressing MINT-
RARE Canadian first pressing of Junior Byron`s debut album "Sunshine" on Formula Records (1981).
There`s not much information available about this (probably Caribbean born and raised) Canada-based funk and disco favourite of the early-to-mid eighties. A very much sought after disco rarity, especially when found in pretty much MINT(-) condition, which is the case here.
GRADING:
VG+ COVER in fine overall condition. Please see photos for details.
- Unlaminated Canadian cover with a bit of wear, as shown.
- Ring wear on front and back covers.
- Some scuffing to the edges, top and bottom.
- Slight corner bend (at top right).
MINT(-) RECORD that looks practically unplayed.
- Pristine vinyl on both sides, with impeccable audio reproduction throughout.
- A few near-invisible hairlines, from sleeve removal only.
- Other than that, no scuffs or other visible wear to the record at all.
- Original off-white Formula Records labels with no spindle wear whatsoever.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "F-001-A # 2 Herbie" and "F-001-B # 2 Herbie". Both sides were "Mastered by Frankford/Wayne New York".
- This record is certified to be an original Canadian first pressing of "Sunshine", released in 1981.
