Description

This is a VERY RARE import 12" LP of Judge Dread & Prince Buster's "Rock Steady". Prince Buster Records BBLP 809. This record features a Prince Buster Label instead of the Blue Beat label: Blue Beat was distributing Prince Buster records without consent for years while he was releasing the same records in Jamaica. This album was sold at Prince Buster's Record Shack and features two blue stamps from the shop on the back. The LP is etched with the matrix number and SPiDERmAN JUDGE DREAD PRiNCE BUSTER. The cover is VG+ with some light greying on the back and some light bends on the bottom corners from storage. The LP is VG++ with some light wear/imperfections in the vinyl. The label has some light flaking around the edges. This is a very hard to find piece of Reggae history.
