Hey folks, we rarely do reserves but we're making an exception for this one! The baldman really wants to go to Cornerstone Festival this year and my wife says if I sell this album, Santa will bring us tickets this Christmas. Guess I better be a good boy because it's been a few years since we've been to C-stone & I really want to be there in 2006! As much as I wouldn't mind keeping the LP, I want to be at C-stone even more so it's worth the sacrifice! You are bidding on the ULTRA RARE 1976? LP "No Room In The Middle" by Joyful Noise on Christ Is The Answer Records. According to Ken Scott (Archivist, 3rd. Ed.), this second release by the Illinois based group is even rarer than their 1st album which had 1000 pressed. After literally digging through tons of albums the past 3 years, we FINALLY unearthed this treasure two weeks ago and I nearly passed out!! Even more surprising is that we found it up in Nashville, a place we've not had much luck in finding vinyl until this recent trip. Two days later when we got home from our music shopping trip, the first thing I did was put this slab of vinyl on the turntable and cranked up the volume and it sounds incredible! Former "e band" member Jon Grier adds a progressive edge on the 7:42 minute track "Lay Down Your Life". In addition, David Eden (also from e band) wrote "Coloring Song" which later resurfaces on Petra's "Never Say Die" LP. Incredible fantasy cover art by Bubba Poythress. NOTE: Cover does have split seams, top goes all the way across & bottom is split halway. Songs include That Which We Have Seen And Heard/Sacrifice Of Fools/4 Corners 4 Churches/Coloring Song/There Is A Fountain/No Room In The Middle/Lay Down Your Life/Don't Take Your Hands Off The Plow. LP in excellent+ condition with one light surface scratch, plays very cleanly, very little background noise, sounds absolutely fantastic! Cover in very good- condition with seams splits as mentioned above. Otherwise, it's in nice shape with no ring wear, nice glossy front artwork. The album is store/pictured in protective plastic sleeve and will be shipped with inner sleeve/LP outside of cover to prevent further damage to seams.
