'Unknown Pleasures'
on rare original UK 1st 'ruby red' translucent Tranco pressing LP in textured picture sleeve with rounded cornered inner sleeve and double dipped near edge elevated ring paper labels
This pressing is the translucent black vinyl and looks reddish / purple when held against a strong light. It has the textured Garrod & Lofthouse picture sleeve and round cornered inner picture sleeve.
The matrices are etched FACT 10 - INSIDE 1 A A PORKY PRIME CUT stamped 1 etched STEP & etched A PORKY PRIME CUT FACT 10- OUTSIDE - 1 B stamped 1 etched THIS IS THE WAY
released on Factory Records FACT 10 in 1979
The condition of the translucent record is excellent .
The textured picture sleeve has very mild ringwear, mild rubbing / storage wear on the reverse and very mild creasing on the edges .
The round cornered inner sleeve has very mild creasing.
The labels are clean with no spindle marks .
A superb example of this highly prized 'ruby red' translucent UK 1st pressing and one of the best I have seen !
