Bids are invited on this original 1979 FACTORY RECORDS PRESSING of the legendary album
JOY DIVISION - UNKNOWN PLEASURES
This has been owned from new and hasn't seen much play. As such the vinyl itself is in very good to excellent condition. I have just given it a play through it it plays really well with no skips or jumps at all. Sounds superb and I will be sorry to see it go but I am down sizing the vinyl collection so needs must!
To be clear, this is the original FAC 10 release of the début Joy Division album with textured black outer sleeve. This was actually the only album released during Ian Curtis's lifetime.
The album features Peter Saville's well known "radio waves" design on the front cover.
All in all this is a well preserved copy for a 38 year old LP and I am sure the new owner will not be disappointed. There is some light rubbing to the textured sleeve and a little scuffing to corners but no splits stains or tears. The inner sleeve is in very good shape with just a couple of minor marks here and there.
For the collector, the run out inscriptions are as follows;
Side A FACT-10-OUTSIDE! B THIS IS THE WAY A PORKY PRIME CUT
Side B FACT 10-INSIDE 1 A PORKY PRIME CUT STEP
The album will be well packaged and sent first class Royal Mail (UK).
