This is an excellent example of the Joy Division Sordide Sentimental re-issue MEDUSA released in the early 1980s. A very limited edition.

 

The original was pressed and released in France in 1979

 

This is the original Medusa .

This re-issue I bought at the beginning of the 80s and it is nowadays almost as rare and difficult to find as the original, a very important collectors item.

Although it is approx 25 years old it is in a brand new condition the single has never been played.

You won’t be disappointed!!!

 

A side - Atmosphere 4.09 mins.

B side - Dead Souls   4.53 mins

 

Engraved on the records run out grooves is SS 33 00 2

The 7 inch single is black vinyl

Mint condition. The single has never been played.

 

The photograph on the sleeve is from Anton Corbijn and the cover painting is from Jean- Francois Jamoul.

A very rare and rather beautiful collectors item.
