LICHT UND BLINDHEIT (SORDIDE SENTIMENTAL) ULTRA RARE ORIGINAL FRENCH RELEASE
LIMITED EDITION 7" WITH TRI-FOLD SLEEVE
This is your chance to own the most sought after Joy Division record. Rarely comes up for auction and in this condition you will not be disappointed if you win.
I will also include a perfect photocopy of a letter from the owner of Sordide sentimental Yves Von Bouter written to a man named Jurgen in Germany in 1980. It is two sided and written in German - i am unable to read German but it does mention the words Joy Division within the text!! Maybe you can translate as it may be a very interesting read with Joy Division in mind!! I have included side 1 of the letter in the picture section but most of this lengthy letter is on the otherside.This looks fantastic as it was written on headed paper.
Licht Und Blindheit (Sordide Sentimental) was a limited edition French release featuring two legendary tracks issued in a deluxe A4 trifold colour sleeve.
Matrix number SS 33002.
Labels are black with silver writing.
Also includes the folded A4 translation sheet and plastic Sordide Sentimental bag both in superb condition
In March 1980 Sordide Sentimental released this 7inch in 1,578 numbered copies.
The Tri fold sleeve is in excellent shape as is the vinyl which looks unplayed. I have tested the record and it plays perfect – no issues whatsoever.
Joy Division had recorded the songs Atmosphere & Dead Souls with Martin Hannett in October 1979.
Hannett really did set the controls for the heart of the sun on these extraordinary songs.
