Up for auction today I have the MEGA RARE Original 12" EP AN IDEAL FOR LIVING by the legendary band JOY DIVISION. This record was released on Anonymous Records (ANON 1) in 1978 just as this band started to break in the Manchester music scene and before their release of Unknown Pleasures on the Factory Records label. I have had this record in my personal Joy Division collection for many years and it has been by far and away the highlight of my collection. I hate to part with it but I need to raise some funds, so it is time to go. This is the original version not some reissue copy. The groove notations are: "Don't ever let it fade away" (side A), and "Feel it closing in" (side B) - from the lyrics to "Digital". Due to the age of this item, I would rate both the sleeve/vinyl as VG+. The cover is still looks good. It has some wear on the top and spine. Edges are a bit worn but overall, it still looks good. I have seen 3 copies of this one in my 20+ years of collecting Joy Division/New Order items and it rates equal to the best I have seen.  I won't ramble on as you probably know how rare this item is already. Don't miss out on this rare piece of modern music history by the most influential band in the last 30 years (in my humble opinion).
