Description
For your consideration - an original pressing of the seminal punk/gothic record by Joy Division - “An Ideal For Living” 12-inch, 45-rpm EP released in September, 1978, shortly after changing their name from "Warsaw". All tracks were recorded at the Pennine Sound Studios, Oldham, on December 14, 1977.
This genuine, first pressing of Joy Division’s first 12" was limited to only 1200 copies on the original black vinyl (only 1200 on the whole planet - if they’ve all survived) and released on the bands own Anonymous Record / ANON 1 label.
The cover shows minor signs of wear, price sticker residue and a little edge yellowing but is in very good condition overall. The record itself is in excellent condition. I’ve owned this record since 1982 and only played it only once to record to tape.
