 Another very relutant sale but here goes.Up for auction I have the now increasingly rare and collectable 100% ORIGINAL double 7" EP compilation on Factory Records(Catalogue Number is FAC-2) entitled A Factory Sample.Features,as you know if you're reading this,the 2 classic Joy Division tracks Digital and Glass.This copy I aquired(via a 3rd party) from an ex record  reviewer who has since sadly passed away.His records,so I've been told were all pristine and this copy is no exception.The only slight downside was that he put a small home made sticker on the label of each of his record with his initials on.I have removed the stickers on each of these records very carefully using lighter fluid(the very best for removing stickers by the way) though they have left a slight mark on which you can just still read his initials (JK) plus there is a slight rubbing on 2 of the labels.However,that aside these are what I consider to be minor blemishes because the vinyls are both in superb MINT- condition as they were barely played. I have personally played the Joy Division side twice and NEVER played the other 3 sides and they still look as pristine and high gloss as the day they were pressed. An absolutely great opportuninty to get your hands on one of THE most sought after ORIGINAL punk/post punk rarities.The sheet of four stickers are missing,however the all important original FACTORY RECORDS sticker is still here and in MINT condition as you can see by the picture.The sleeve is also in excellent condition and is as good as you will ever see.Like all of these original sleeves it has some unavoidable creasing due to its very fragile nature.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT :
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed be Mint.

EXCELLENT :
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD :
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

SMALL PRINT : I am first and foremost a collector, and grade strictly as I wish everyone would. Records will be well-packed between cardboard, and sent in record mailers. In the interests of the environment, these will be recycled whenever possible. All records are sent with a certificate of posting, if you wish additional insurance please ask – I cannot be held responsible for missing parcels.

I may use a + or a - to emphasise a grading which may be inbetween a grade. I will never use a mint grading for a 2nd hand/used record for instance. Mint- will be the very highest grade.
