TITLE/ARTIST: This highly collectible and rare four (4) song, Johnny Cash EP is on the original Sun Label, and is self-entitled "Johnny Cash", by the legendary and late great, Johnny Cash, from 1956. I believe this was just his 1st or 2nd release for Sun records! The EP features a really great cover shot of a very young looking Johnny Cash on the front cover and four classic songs, including "The Rock Island Line", plus three others. Please continue to read on and check out all the descriptions and pictures below. LABEL INFO:It is on the original Sun Label---EPA-112---and it is in very, very nice condition. This copy is an original very 1st pressing and I see absolutely no spindle lines around the center hole at all, which indicates to me that the EP wasn't played very much, if even at all; VINYL INFO: The vinyl is extremely shiny, clean and nice with no flaws to report at all---I honestly see absolutely nothing negative to report---maybe just a couple really small and light surface/paper lines, but nothing serious at all. Otherwise, to me it look's virtually "like new"---what a great find!!; JACKET INFO: The jacket is also super nice with no flaws here either. If it's possible, the jacket might even look better than the vinyl---in my opinion, it's just about as good as the day it was 1st purchased some 50 years ago (but see the pictures below and judge for yourself); INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these extremely rare, early, and original Johnny Cash EP's out there anymore---not at all---and I have 2 others listed in this same auction, with more to come soon.
